      • These motors have two primary connections.  One is for motor power and the other is for rotary encoder feedback.  The hall effect sensor in the motor has been disabled with a jumper.  This eliminates the need for the feedback cable.
        
        A second encoder (ex. linear encoder on a screw table) and some software modifications will be needed for this motor to operate like the SM232AE motors.  Without the software modifications the drive will flag a motor fault.
